PURPOSE:To obtain a color photosensitive silver halide material high in sensitivity by incorporating a compd. capable of releasing a fogging agent or its precursor or the like in accordance with an amt. of developed silver in development and a nondiffusive coupler capable of releasing a diffusive dye. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion layer formed on a support incorporates a compd. (FR compd.) for releasing a fogging agent, its precursor, a developing accelerator, or its precursor, and a nondiffusive coupler (dye diffusing type coupler) capable of reacting with the oxidized product of a color developing agent and forming a properly bleeding diffusive dye imagewise in accordance with an amt. of developed silver at the time of development. This dye diffusing type coupler is represented by the formula in which Cp is a component causing proper bleeding of a dye image, and improving graininess, and X is a group combined with the coupling site of said component and releasable upon the reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent. |
