<p>Process for pretreatment by means of a so-called pretreatment aqueous solution of natural materials containing at least one reclaimable element in which the gangue contains clayey compounds capable of forming, during the treatment for reclaiming the natural material, a stable plastic suspension in the presence of water making the subsequent separation of liquid and solid phases practically impossible because of its unfilterable and/or unseparable nature, which is characterised in that, in order to cause a stabilisation of the clayey gangue before the treatment for reclaiming the natural materials and in order to obtain easy separation of the liquid and solid phases after the treatment, the natural materials whose particle size is at least equal to the mesh for release of the element(s) to be reclaimed are brought into contact with the pretreatment aqueous solution which contains active silica or active alumina in the soluble form of alkali metal silicate or aluminate as a stabilising agent for the clayey gangue.</p> |
