Cured epoxy resin compositions, having a glass transition temperature (Tg) over 300 DEG F. (149 DEG C.) coupled with coefficients of linear thermal expansion (CTE) closely approaching those of aluminum, find practical utility in tooling applications as a modeling stock. The epoxy resin composition comprises one or more epoxy resins, one or more aromatic amine hardeners or a blend of aromatic and aliphatic amine hardeners, and a combination of at least three fillers selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, glass microspheres, graphite fibers and mica.
