PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a plating rack and to improve the quality of plated parts and the productivity by coating an alloy material for the plating rack with a heat and chemical resistant resin. CONSTITUTION:A copper alloy material for a plating rack used in the plating of small-sized parts is coated with a superheat and chemical resistant resin such as fluororesin. When a plating rack made of the coated alloy material is used, treatment with a strong acid at a high temp. is enabled, so the productivity and the quality of plated parts are improved, and the life of the plating rack is prolonged.
