PURPOSE:To change easily the height of a pass line even under rolling operation by constituting a titled equipment wherein the liner part of a roll rearranging dolly is formed into a taper shape and the height of pass line is adjusted by moving the liner. CONSTITUTION:The upper surface of a dolly liner 3 of a roll-rearranging dolly 2 is formed into a taper surface 31 toward the roll-axis direction, and an adjusting liner 4 is constantly interposed between the liner 3 and the rocking plate 11 of a lower backup roll-chock 1. The upper surface of liner 4 for receiving the plate 11 is horizontal, but its lower surface is formed into a taper surface 41, having the same slant angle as that of the surface 31 to unite itself with the liner 3, and moving devices 5 are provided to both ends in the taper direction. In case of adjusting the height of a pass line, the clock 1 is raised by a lifting device 6 to release the liner 4 from the press-contact of plate 11, and the liner 4 is moved by actuating the device 5 to change the level of the receiving surface of plate 11 to the desired adjusting height. Next, the chock 1 is lowered by the device 6 to support the plate 11 by the upper surface of liner 4. |
