PURPOSE:At the start of spinning operation with spinning frames provided with air-jet nozzles and falst twisters, the fiber bundle is combined with another yarn- like substance, they are threaded, then the substance is removed to achieve simple and steady threading. CONSTITUTION:In a spining frame provided with an air-nozzle 6 allowing a rotating air-stream to act on the fiber bundle S and with a false twister 8 of a contact type such as a belt or friction type, the bundle of staple fibers S is drafted in the drafting part 1 and introduced into the spinning part to start spinning operation where each position of the spinning frame is driven at the state in which the contact part is kept separated in the contact type false twister 8, first the fiber bundle S is passed through the air-jet nozzle 6, sucked with the gun 16. Then, a yarn-like substance, preferably, a bundle of filaments, is fed from the upperstream of the front roller 5 and, after it reaches the suction gun, the contact part of the twister 8 is allowed to contact with each other to start the false twisting. When the operation reaches the stable state, the yarn-like substance F is stopped feeding. |
