PURPOSE:To obtain a powdery nutritious material, useful as a nutriment enriching material, and containing components effective for the human body, by concentrating an extract of photosynthetic chlorella and an edible material, adding a specific amount of an alcohol thereto, fractionating the resultant mixture, and powdering the fractionated material. CONSTITUTION:An extract of photosynthetic chlorella and an edible material, e.g. fungi and mushrooms, e.g. SHIITAKE mushroom or Coriolus versicolor, is concentrated. The resultant concentrated solution is then cooled, and an alcohol is added thereto to give 70-85vol% to fractionate the concentrated solution. The resultant fractionated solution is powdered. The fractionation means the process of allowing the solution at room temperature or <=5 deg.C heating temperature for a suitable time, and filtering the resultant solution to give the aimed extract. The photosynthetic chlorella means algae cultivated in large amounts in the open air, e.g. Chlorella pyrenoidosa or Chlorella vulgaris, etc. The edible material means ginseng, pickled UME, beer yeast, sea tangle, WAKAME seaweed, etc. |
