PURPOSE:To enable improvement of the assembly efficiency of a free wheel and a strength during transfer of a power, by a method wherein the locking member of a free wheel is formed by a magnetic material, either of a wheel base and a wheel is formed by a magnetic material and the other is formed by a non-magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A wheel base 1 is formed by a non-magnetic material, and a shaft hole 2, formed in the center, is interposed externally of a center shaft 3 to secured them integrally with each other. A wheel 4 is formed by a magnetic material and is rotatably engaged with the outer peripheral part of the wheel base 1. Small columner locking members 7 are respectively located in dent parts 8a- 8f provided in the outer peripheral part of the wheel base 1. The locking member 7 is formed with a permanent magnet, and is adapted to be adsorbed to the teeth surfaces of a ratchet 6 of the wheel 4 by the aid of a magnetic force. This eliminates the need to employ an energizing spring and reduces the number of parts of the free wheel, resulting improvement of assembly efficiency. |
