PURPOSE:To allow a terminal station to know the line operating state based upon data on the on-off condition of the contact of a control relay, etc., as well as yield by transmitting the on-off condition data at a data transmission request from a terminal station. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal 4 includes the input processing circuit 11-1 consisting of a register 6 stored with the on-off state of the contact 5-1, and 1st and the 2nd cumulating timers 8 and 9 which measure the on-off time and frequency, a counter 7, and an interval timer 10. Contact information on them is stored in a nonvolatile RAM12. When contact data is known, which contact data on terminal equipment is required is specified by a personal computer 15 and then a request signal is sent from a control circuit 19 through a data bus 1; and input terminal equipment 4 sends the contact data to the terminal station together with an address as its attribute in response to the request signal. Consequently, the line operating state is known to perform system control. |
