The invention relates to a circuit arrangement of an electronic heavy-current switch for connection of a heavy-current load to the telecommunications network. The incoming tone caller is identified in an integrated tone caller circuit (IC). The audio frequency generated in the tone caller circuit (IC) is rectified approximately synchronously with the incoming tone caller on the secondary winding of a transformer (Ü) and is applied as a control voltage to two heavy-duty MOS switching transistors (T1, T2). These MOS switching transistors (T1, T2) activate or de-activate a heavy-current load (R4) via the drain-source terminals (D, S) and the series-connected power diodes (D3, D4). <IMAGE>
