PURPOSE:To maintain the lowest limit value of liquid level at all times as well as to prevent the failure generating from a non-load running due to exhaustion of liquid by a method wherein the liquid level on the intake side of a pump is detected using a float, and the lowest limit value of the liquid level is maintained at all times. CONSTITUTION:The liquid-phase refrigerant 6 collected at the lower part of a tank 2 is sent to a liquid tank 14, sprayed on an electric machine 1, turned into refrigerant vapor 10, condensed by radiating heat using a cooler 3, the condensed liquid passes an interconnected tube 4 and collected at the lower part of the tank 2. When the liquid level of the liquid-phase refrigerant 6 comes down and it becomes lower than the lowest limit value set in advance, the moving contact point 24 of a floast 23 comes in contact with a fixed contact point 25 and the circuit is closed, an electromagnetic valve 22 is opened, the liquid-phase refrigerant 6 is sent back to the lower part of the tank 2 from the liquid tank 14 passing through a return pipe 21. Accordingly, the liquid level on the intake side of the liquid pump can be maintained constantly using the minimum quantity of liquid, and the exhaustion of liquid can also be prevented. |
