a monitoring router operative to regulate data communication between multiple points; a managed router operative to enable data communication between the monitoring router and a service device; a monitoring device, for detecting the presence of an individual near the workspace, the monitoring device operatively associated with a power source and the managed router; and the monitoring router connected to a communication channel, the managed router and the power source, wherein the monitoring device controls the managed router.
