PURPOSE:To provide the titled dye transfer material capable of recording with sufficient density and favorable image quality, wherein a coloring material layer comprising a sublimable dye and a polyester binder is provided on a film base consisting of a polyester or the like. CONSTITUTION:The coloring material layer 3 comprising a sublimable dye 4 and a polyester binder 6 is provided on the film base 2 consisting of a polyester, preferably, polyethylene terephthalate, or a composition comprising the polyester as a main constituent, to obtain the objective dye transfer material. When heat is applied to the dye transfer material by a thermal head 1, the dye 4 is transferred to an image-receiving material 5 through sublimation, thereby recording is completed. USE:High-speed recording by an electronic device such as a thermal head. |
