PURPOSE:To enable the miniaturization of an electromagnet and ultimately a print head with an increase in the attraction for the electromagnet by providing a dent on the core of the electromagnet while protrusion is provided on an armature so as to be fitted thereinto contactlessly. CONSTITUTION:A protrusion 21 like a small cylinder is provided on the surface to be attracted to a fixed core 6 of an armature 8. On the other hand, a dent 22 is formed on the surface to be attracted to the armature 8 or the fixed core 6 so as to have the protrusion 21 fitted thereinto. The outer surface of the protrusion 21 and the inner surface of the dent 22 are kept from contacting each other whether the armature 8 is attracted to the fixed core 6 or not but it is preferably to minimize the interval therebetween. |
