PURPOSE:To remove even-order harmonic distortion easily by multiplying an FM demodulated output by an output obtained by differentiating said FM demodulated output, generating an output almost equal to an even-order harmonic distortion component in the FM output and composing said output with the FM demodulated output. CONSTITUTION:An output S obtained through a front end 1, an intermediate frequency stage 2 and an FM demodulator 3 is supplied to signal generators 4, 5. In the signal generator 4, a signal S8 obtained by differentiating 8 the demodulated output S is multiplied 9 with a signal S10 obtained by level-adjusting the signal S to obtain a signal S4. In the signal generator 5, a signal obtained by differentiating 11 the demodulated signal S is multiplied 12 with a signal obtained by level-adjusting 14 the demodulated signal 3 and the multiplied result is differentiated 13 to form and output a signal S5. The signal S is added 6 to the signal S4 and the signal 5 is added 7 to said added result to output a signal S7. Thus, the even-order harmonic distortion included in the FM demodulated wave 3 is easily removed.
