PURPOSE:To control the root rot of vegetables, safely and easily, saving labor and time, by thrusting a rod into the soil without digging the soil, and blasting a fungicidal agent horizontally from the rod into the soil. CONSTITUTION:A rod having a nozzle to eject a pesticide to the horizontal direction is thrusted into the soil, without digging, near the root of the vegetable to be treated, and a pesticide is blasted horizontally into the soil to control the root rot which is a blight of mainly the root of vegetables. A liquid carrier such as water is used as the carrier of the above pesticide, however, a solid carrier may be used when the pesticide is blasted together with a gas such as air.
