PURPOSE:To improve the heat transfer efficiency of the solar energy to water when the solar heat is received by a method wherein the water in a hot water tank, which also serves as the collector of solar heat, is forced circulated by an electric motor having the power source of a solar cell when a solar water heater receives the solar heat. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of the water in a heat collector 14 is raised due to the solar heat received by the heat collector 14, the water, the temperature of which is elevated, flows through a circulating water pipe 16 into a hot water tank 15. On the other hand, the low temperature water at the bottom of the hot water tank 15 flows through another circulating water pipe to communicate the interior of the hot water tank 15 with the interior of the heat collector so as to flow from the interior of the hot water tank 15 to the interior of the heat collector 14 from its lower part side. A screw 17 may be installed in said another circulating pipe. Under the condition that the heat collector receives the solar heat, a solar cell 20 also receives the strong sunlight and consequently the electromotive force of the solar cell 20 becomes stronger until the switch part of an electromagnetic switch 19 is closed, resulting in energizing the alternate current to an electric motor 18 in order to rotate the screw 17. |
