PURPOSE:To hold stably a quality of a photoconductive drum by constituting so that a tuft of a developer does not contact to the photoconductive drum at the time of stop of an operation. CONSTITUTION:A business machine has a photoconductive drum 3 which has formed a photoconductive body layer on the surface, and a developing device which has surrounded a magnet 3 by a sleeve 1, makes an adsorbed developer 2 contact to the drum 3 by a rotation and forms an image, and thereafter, transfers it to a recording paper. When this business machine stops its operation, one of the sleeve 1 and the magnet 4 rotates in the direction opposite to the time when the developing device is driven, and thereafter, stops, so that a tuft of the developer 2 does not contact to the drum 3. Accordingly, even if a stop period of the business machine extends over a long period of time, a quality of the drum 3 can be held stably. |
