PURPOSE:To offer an automated original text sheets setting device, in which shortening of transport distance for original text sheet and sheets setting of high precision have been embodied, by incorporating a means to place stacked sheets at least partially in close contact on a sheets table and a means to set the sheet on the sheets stable. CONSTITUTION:Together with a load plate 17 a stacking of original text sheets 13 are accommodated on a sheets placing means including a front side plate 11 having at its undersurface a sheets receptacle 12. When the sheets are automatically set one after another from the undermost lying one of those stacked sheets 13, first a roller 18 is put in No.1 position A so as to be in contact with the undermost lying sheet 13. If in this condition a Copy signal is given, the roller 18 is turned to put the sheet 13 into the B condition, and when it is sensed by photo- electric means 23, 24, the roller 18 is displaced to No.2 position C, and the sheet 13 is deformed into the D condition. The sheet 13 will now pass under the roller 18, enabled by its stiffness, to come to the F position on a glass plate 9, and then be transported till the specific point G by the roller 18 displaced to No.3 position E to stop there. |
