PURPOSE:To suppress the discharge of dust from an outlet to a minimum, and to enhance the dust collection efficiency by charging a dust collection chamber on the downstream side while chargeless hammering is carried out in a dust collection chamber on the upstream side in a dust collector having plural dust collection chambers in series. CONSTITUTION:When the control of the hammering of a collection electrode is demanded 12, a change-over command is sent to change over switches 14, 15 and 16, and a charge stopping command to a 1F and 2F power pack charge stopping command circuit 17 from a control demand input control circuit 13. Accordingly, the power packs 1F and 2F which are continuously operated up to that time is stopped, and a continuous hammering command is sent out simultaneously to a 1F and 2F dust collection electrode continuous hammering command circuit 18. After T1 hours, a stop command is sent to motors 4a and 4b, and a count starting command is sent simultaneously to a timer 20 for setting the stillness time T2. During this time, a dust collection chamber 3F is continuously charged, and the discharge of the dust scattered by the hammering 1F and 2F from an outlet is suppressed. |
