PURPOSE:To improve reliability of data recording and reproduction by setting composite temperature expansion quantity of a base, an attachment and a capstan, and composite temperature expanding quantity of a band, a carriage, a connecting member and a magnetic disk almost equal. CONSTITUTION:When the rotational shaft of a motor 4 rotates and a capstan 5 rotates, an attachment 7 has tractive force through a band 6, and the force operates in the straight-line direction to the attachment 7. Since a carriage 9 is guided by guide rods 17a and 17b, the carriage 9 which is united with the attachment 7, and a head assembling body 11 shift in the rotational center direction of a magnetic disk. In this case, the composite temperature expanding quantity of a base 1, the attachment 7 and the capstan 5, and the composite temperature expanding quantity of the band 6, the carriage 9, the connecting member such as the magnetic head assembling body 11 and a magnetic disk 3 are set to be almost equal. Thus, the off-track quantity can be restrained to the prescribed limit quantity or below, and the reliability is improved. |
