PURPOSE:To improve steering characteristics by arranging an arm of the specified length on a drag link while being pivotally supported on a car body and a housing, in a front wheel suspension in which a banjo-shaped accelerator housing is supported elastically by leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:An arms 64 is pivotally attached 70, 72 respectively to a car body frame 20 and a housing 14 above a drag link 52 parallel to the link viewing from above the car body. The length of this arm 64 is made equal to the radius of an arc locus of swing of the pivatal support point 76 of the housing 14 of the arm 64, and a pivotal support point 74 of a frame side 20 of the arm 64 is arranged in the center point of the locus. Thus, for example, part or whole of wind-up torque which operates on an accelerator housing 14 at the time of starting or the like is received as a tension or a compression force of the arm 64, the wind-up torque can be prevented to operate on a leaf spring 16, and generation of big twisting can be prevented, thereby steering is improved. |
