<p>In an alarm system having a computer, the latter is constructed in such a manner that it analyses various alarm states of the device and determines which alarm states are a consequence of the main causes of a number of existing alarm states. The main-cause alarm states are emphasised, displayed on a visual display unit and the existence of subordinate alarm states is indicated by a group alarm status lamp. The operator can request a display of all alarm states which occur within a particular group.</p> |
