PURPOSE:To make a device small-sized and light weight by providing an original feeding roll which is brought into contact with a glass plate of an original platen and is rotated in accordance with movement of the original platen and using movement of the original platen to carry copy originals. CONSTITUTION:When the lower end of an original inserted from an original tray 7 reaches the contacting part between an original feeding roll 5 and a pressing roll 12 and movement of an original platen 2 is started by copy start, the original feeding roll 5 brought into contact with a glass plate 3 is rotated, and the pressing roll 12 is rotated in accordance with this rotation, and the original is sent to the position between the original feeding roll 5 and the glass plate 3 along a feeding guide 21 and is sent out to the side of a feeding guide 22. The exposure process of a copying machine 1 is started when the front end of the original is brought closely into contact with the glass plate 3, and the original after the exposure process is ejected to the side of an ejected paper tray 8 by the carrying action of paper ejecting rolls 13 and 14. |
