PURPOSE:A polyolefin composition markedly improved in light stability, prepared by mixing a polyolefin with a specified hindered amine compound, a specified phenolic compound, and a specified phosphite ester compound or a specified thioether compound. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyolefin is mixed with a hindered amine compound of formula I , at least one compound selected from among low-MW phenolic compounds of formulas II and III, at least one compound selected from among high-MW phenolic compounds of formulas IV-VIII, at least one compound selected from among phosphite ester compounds of formulas IX and X, and at least one compound selected from among thioether compounds of formulas X I and XII, each of these compounds being used in an amount of 0.01-1pt.wt. In the above formulas, R1 is a 1-18C alkyl, R2 is a 1-3C alkyl, R3 is a 1-8C alkyl, R4 is a 1-18C alkyl, m is 0-30, and a is 1-6.
