PURPOSE:The titled flexible composition excellent in mechanical strength and resilience and good in moldability, comprising a plasticizer and a vinyl chloride copolymer containing a specified monoolefin compound. CONSTITUTION:A 5-12C monoolefin compound (e.g., 1-hexene) and vinyl chloride are suspension-polymerized in the presence of deionized water, a suspension stabilizer (e.g., partially saponified PVA) and a polymerization initiator to obtain a vinyl chloride copolymer having a component A content >=2wt% and an average degree of polymerization >=1,000. 100pts.wt. said copolymer is kneaded with 20-200pts.wt. plasticizer (e.g., di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate) and, optionally, heat stabilizer, filler, lubricant, blowing agent, flame retardant, pigment, other high- molecular compounds, etc.
