PURPOSE:To select and record automatically only a desired broadcast content by transmitting multiplexingly a general broadcast signal and an identification signal from a broadcast station and allowing a receiver to detect the identification signal. CONSTITUTION:A television broadcast station 1 is provided with a general broadcast transmission circuit 3 transmitting a general broadcast signal Y and an identification signal transmission circuit 4 transmitting an identification signal X representing that the content of broadcast is specific. A detection circuit 12 of a video device 2 being a receiver inputs the general broadcast signal Y (picture signal) to a recording circuit 10, the identification signal X is detected and inputted to a recording stop control circuit 11. When a recording selection button 7 is depressed, the recording stop control circuit 11 stopping the operation of the recording circuit 10 is operated, a temporary stop operating circuit 9 is activated, the recording circuit 10 stops operation and the recorder part is stopped temporarily. The identification signal transmission circuit 4 transmits the identification signal X as to the unnecessary part of comments on movie of a movie broadcast and of music broadcast. |
