PURPOSE:To enlarge the effective space of a living room by mounting a heat pump outdoor unit on the outer wall and providing the indoor unit sidewardly of the outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION:The heat pump 1 is composed of an outdoor unit 2 and indoor units 3 and 4, and the outdoor unit 2 and indoor units 3 and 4 are separated from each other and are connected to each other by means of a coolant pipe 5. A supply air port 6 and an exhaust port 7 of the outdoor unit 2 are opened and formed on the unit side surfaces 8 and 9. A supply air slit 11 and an exhaust slit 12 formed on the supply air port 6 and exhaust air port 7 and the outer wall 10 are communicated with each other through ducts 13 and 14. The indoor units 3 and 4 are installed at the left side and the right side of the outdoor unit 2. As a result, the depth of the apparatus is decreased, and the rate of the apparatus occupying the living room space is lowered and the effective space of the living room is enlarged. |
