PURPOSE:To eliminate contamination on an electric characteristic film surface, and reduce the size and cost of a photosensitive body base by slanting the upper end surface of the photosensitive body base downward from an electric characteristic film formation side to the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:The upper end surface of the plate type base 11 is beveled into a slanting surface 11a which slants downward at an angle theta from the side of the electric characteristic film surface 11b to the side of the opposite surface 11c. The angle theta is determined by oscillations of a device which elevates the plate type base 11, deflection during conveyance, and the surface tension and wettability of a solvent and a photosensitive solution, and the surface needs to slant at 5-10 deg. when the base body is washed with, for example, trichloroethylene, etc. and lifted. When the plate type base 11 is lifted from the photosensitive solution, the solution stays on the slanting surface 11a as shown by 12, but no solution runs on the electric characteristic film surface 11b owing to oxcillations, deflection during conveyance, etc., and a solution run 12a is caused on the opposite surface 11c. |
