PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by adding polyethyleneimine to a diene polymer at a specific ratio, thus showing high adhesion, intial tack, greatly improved maintenance at elevated temperatures, lowered costs, good operability, and being used in packaging and masking tapes. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by combining (A) a diene polymer, preferably natural rubber, styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer as the base polymer, (B) 0.05-5pts.wt., preferably 0.1-1pt.wt. per 100pts.wt. of component (A), of polyethyleneimine of formula I (x, y are 0, integers, x+ynot equal to 0; is integer; x is formula II or extended polyethyleneimine chain) (preferably the ratio of primary, secondary and tertiary nitrogens is 1:2:1) and preferably (C) 20-200pts.wt. of a tackifying resin and (D) 5-100pts.wt. of plasticizer. |
