A process wherein organic polyisocyanates are reacted with polyester-polyols, if desired in the presence of the assistants and additives which are conventional in polyurethane chemistry, where the polyester-polyols used are ester group-containing reaction products, having a hydroxyl number in the range from 150 to 710, an acid number in the range from 0 to 20 and a viscosity at 25 DEG C in the range from 100 to 6000 mPa.s, of phthalic acid and/or phthalic anhydride with alkanediols or alkanediol mixtures optionally containing ether groups and having a hydroxyl number in the range from 400 to 1810. |
