<p>PURPOSE:To attain a mouse used simply for both the moving operation of a cursor and the input operation of graphic information by scanning the operating face with an optical beam to detect the absolute position of an operating body. CONSTITUTION:The phase of operating voltage pulses Bx, By given to optical scanners 7x, 7y is shifted by 180 deg. and the optical beam is projected to the operating body by the pulses. The beam is received by a photodetecting sensor of the operating body 4 and a detected pulse D is outputted to coincidence circuits 24x, 24y. The coincidence circuits 24x, 24y discriminate the direction by the output and the pulses Bx, By and the count value of counters 23x, 23y at the said photodetection is outputted in this timing. Since this count value represencts the projected position of the scanners 7x, 7y, the center position of the photodetetion section 14 of the operating body 4 is inputted to an information processor by inputting this count value to the information processor.</p> |
