PURPOSE:To prevent stepwise disturbance of a control signal due to mismatching by allowing the circuit to be in standby while matching the own control output with a fixed control signal at the restoration of runaway of a microcomputer so as to switch said output into the control output and release the standby state at the same time. CONSTITUTION:If the microcomputer 1 runs away and generation of a pulse signal A is intermitted, an output signal B of a deadman timer 3 goes to H and a changeover circuit 7 selects and outputs a fixed control signal generated from a fixed output circuit 6. On the other hand, a reset circuit 4 generates a reset pulse C at each prescribed period and the signal is fed to a reset input terminal R. When the microcomputer 1 is restored to the normal state by the reset processing, the computer 1 is in standby while generating a control output signal of the same content as that of the fixed control signal. When the output signal B goes to L, the time count of a timer 11 is started and when the time reaches a preset time, the changeover circuit 7 generates and outputs the control signal generated from the microcomputer 1. |
