PURPOSE:A primer composition for silicone rubber composition having improved initial adhesiveness, and good bond durability even under high-temperature conditions, comprising a specific organopolysiloxane as a main component. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. organopolysiloxane of dimer - octamer comprising a siloxane unit shown by the formula I (a is 1-3, b is 0-3, a+b is 1-3; R<1> is alkenyl; R<2> is alkyl or aryl) and a siloxane unit shown by the formula II, having a molar ratio of R<1> group/Si atom in 1mol of 0.1-0.98, and both of silanol group and alkoxy group linked to Si atom or only alkoxy group linked to Si atom in 1mol in a molar ratio of (total amount of silanole group and alkoxy group linked to Si atom)/(Si atom) or (alkoxy group linked to Si atom)/(Si atom) of 1-2.5 is uniformly blended with (B) 0.01-100pts.wt., preferably 0.05- 60pts.wt. curing catalyst (preferably organotitanium compound) and (C) an organic solvent (e.g., toluene, xylene, etc.).
