PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device for drawing continuously for many hours a dead thin wire rod having a high accuracy and a high quality by setting a die shape of a hydraulic pressure extruding wire drawing which is higher than a specified pressure, to a specified bearing part length against a hole diameter. CONSTITUTION:With regard to a die hole part of a hydraulic pressure extruding wire drawing executed by a back pressure exceeding 1,000kg/cm<2>, a length l1 of a bearing part is set to 0.5-1.0D0 against a hole diameter D0. In case of this condition, the minimum extruding pressure will do, a linear velocity can be increased, occurrence of abrasion and damage of a die is the minimum, the wire diameter becomes constant, a wire is scarcely curled, and a wire flaw is also reduced. Accordingly, a dead thin wire rod having a high accuracy and a high quality is produced stably for many hours.
