PURPOSE:To reduce flaws of running generated on a magnetic sheet by making especially the area of the first facing surface on the front side in the rotation direction of the magnetic sheet smaller relatively. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizing member 15 has facing surfaces 15a and 15b on the front side and the rear side in the rotation direction (arrow B) of a magnetic sheet 12 with the position of a magnetic head 14 as the center respectively. The stabilizing member 15 is so provided that these facing surface 15a and 15b are projected downward from the front end face of the magnetic head 14. Thus, the magnetic sheet 12 is interposed between the magnetic head 14 and the first and the second facing surfaces 15a and 15b of the stabilizing member 15 and is rotated and run. The area of the first facing surface 15a is made smaller than that of the second facing surface 15b. Flaws of running generated on the magnetic sheet 12 are reduced according as the area of the first facing surface 15a is smaller.
