PURPOSE:To improve protective capacity for a bevel gear, by constituting a boss end face at the driven bevel gear back so as to make it jut out into a bearing case as well as to oppositely contact a mechanical damper, in case of the above captioned device for cross-country driving three-wheeled vehicles, etc. CONSTITUTION:Turning force in a driven bevel gear 6 is transmitted to a rear axle 1 from a slider 9 via cams 8 and 10. At this time, if strong torque works, axial component force produced by a tilt angle, where these cams 8 and 10 contact, surpasses the pressing force of a spring 11, forcing back the slider 9, and therefore relative displacement in a circumferential direction is produced in space between these cams 8 and 9, thus torque is buffered. Doing like this, with a mechanical damper additionally installed therein, such shock torque as being reversely transmitted from the rear wheel side is effectively absorbed so that protective capacity for the bevel gear is improved. |
