PURPOSE:To make compact a sea water cooler consisting of a refrigeration cycle mechanism comprising a compressor, a condenser and a cooling unit and to enable the easy installation of the sea water cooler in a fishing vessel, by disposing the cooler in a centralized manner in an engine room and circulating cooled sea water through the cooler and a fish and water tank. CONSTITUTION:A sea water cooler, in which a compressor, a condenser, a flow restrictor, a cooling unit, a blower for cooling the condenser, etc. are connected to one another through pipes to constitute a refrigeration cycle, is disposed in a centralized manner in a case 25 in an engine room 22 and connected to a fish and water tank 45 through pipes 46, 47. The sea water cooler is operated through a control box 36 in a steering room 35. Since the refrigeration cycle needs to be provided with the refrigeration capacity only to maintain the sea water in the fish and water tank 45 at a set temperature, the capacity of the entire cooler can be made small and the cooler can be all placed in the engine room to efficiently utilize the internal space of a fishing vessel.
