PURPOSE:To prevent laser beam irradiation completely if a safety device becomes abnormal by engaging and disengaging an optical system with and from a recording device body, and closing an opening with a shutter member when the optical system is disengaged regardless of whether a light source device is in operation or not. CONSTITUTION:The shutter member 30 is fixed to one end part 302a of an L-shaped lever 302, which is supported on both side plates 70a of an opening/ closing unit 70 with pins 303 and energized at the other end part 302b by being drawn by a spring 304. When the opening/closing unit 70 is closed, a bar 305 is positioned as specified by abutting on a stopper 306 and the shutter member 301 is shunted from the slit opening 50a of an optical box 50. When the opening/ closing unit 70 is opened in said state, the lever 302 is rotated until it abuts on a stopper pin 307. In this state, the shutter member 301 is positioned facing the slit opening 50a to cut off laser beam completely. |
