<p>PURPOSE:To cool gas and recover sensible heat effectively, by treating and cooling tar-contg. gas in a spouted bed cooler, a tar cooler and then in an indirect contact type heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Tar-contg. gas G1 (at about 600-1,000 deg.C) is led into a spouted bed cooler 1 (a is solid particle) for cooling and the resultant gas G2 (at about 400-500 deg.C) is introduced into a tar cooler 5 for cooling. Then the gas G3 cooled to about 200-300 deg.C is led into an indirect contact type heat exchanger 16 for cooling and the gas G4 cooled to about 80-120 deg.C is discharged at the top of a gas/liquid spearating tank 27. Water (heat medium for cooling) is fed into the heat exchanger 16 by means of a pump 9 and heated water is sent into a steam drum 7 through a pipe 24 and is circulated by means of a pump 6 to the coolers 1 and 5. Steam generated in the steam drum 7 is recovered through a pipe 8, while tar formed in the heat exchanger 16 is sent to the tar cooler 5 through a pipe 28.</p> |
