PURPOSE:To facilitate processing of jam, maintenance, etc. by rendering a conveyance unit releasable from the conveyance position through interlocking with movement of a door. CONSTITUTION:The shaft 37 of an arm 32 is moved from the point of the long hole 38a of an arm stand 38 toward 38b, and a shaft 34 is moved from one end side 31b of the long hole of the arm stand 31 toward the other end side 31c by manual operation for closing a front door 30, and a joint lever 33 idly fitted to a shaft 34 is also moved in the same direction as the arm 32. A lever 24 located below a conveyance unit 11 in the inside of the main body of an apparatus begins to be turned around a shaft 25 by these movements, but the unit 11 is automatically pushed up to the standard position 50 or 51 of the side plate of the main body by installing a tensile spring 27, and the front door 30 is held in a normal state capable of forming an image by engaging the door catch 45 of the side plate of the main body with the door catch 46 of the door 30. The door 30 is turned open, and operations reverse to said operations are carried out to enable jam processing and maintenance. As a result, in releasing the conveyance unit from the conveyance position through interlocking with the opening of the door, jam processing, etc., are made very easy and safe by providing the door 30 with the elastic means for swinging the conveyance unit and the elastic means for balancing. |
