The invention relates to a device for moving a pipeline or electric cable 6 from an old trench to a new trench. The chassis 1, 2 comprises idle rollers of horizontal axis and with a bogie (diabolo)-shaped profile, on which the pipeline 6 rests. The end rollers of vertical axes 5 provide lateral guidance. As the mechanical shovel moves forwards, the pipeline 6 is automatically transferred.
