<p>PURPOSE:To stop the supply of power after a magnetic tape is completely stored in a tape cassette by using a power supply device containing a power supply switch circuit which cuts off the power supply after detecting an unloading end signal. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply switch is turned off, an OFF signal is delivered to a sequential control circuit 36 via power supply OFF signal terminals of connectors 29 and 37. The circuit 36 delivers an unloading command to a loading motor drive circuit 25 and a reel motor drive circuit 26 to store a magnetic tape into a cassette. When the tape is completely stored in the cassette, the circuit 36 delivers an unloading end signal to a by-pass circuit 46 via terminals 32 and 40. When the circuit 46 receives said end signal, the supply of DC power is stopped. Thus it is possible to improve both protection performance and operability of the magnetic tape and a rotary cylinder.</p> |
