Any blockage of parts being supplied is automatically removed in a revolving parts feeder in which a disc rotates in the center thereof, and an alignment track revolves around the disc. A disc rotation detector (16) is attached to the shaft of a variable-speed reversible electric motor (14) driving the disc (1), and a track rotation detector (17) is attached to the shaft of a variable-speed reversible electric motor (15) rotating the track (2). If a part being supplied is caught between the outer periphery of the disc (1) and a loss-prevention wall (3), or between the track (2) and an alignment wall (7), the speed of either or both of the disc (1) and the track (2) is reduced. Such reductions in rotational speed are detected by the corresponding rotation detectors (16), (17), and outputs therefrom are employed to rotate the disc and/or the track backwards for a predetermined period of time, to release the blockage. |
