PURPOSE:To prevent preliminarily the reduction of recording quality by installing a humidity measuring device to measure the humidity of recording sheet supplied to a transcribe part, and an alarm device to generate the alarm when the measuring value obtained with the humidity measuring device exceeds the prescribed range, concerning an electronic photo record system or an electrostatic record system recording device. CONSTITUTION:A resistance measuring device 11 measures the surface electric resistance value of a recording sheet 5 as the humidity measuring device to measure the humidity of the recording sheet 5 supplied to a transcribe part 6. The 1st comparator 5 generates the binary signal ''1'' when the measuring value obtained the resistance measuring device 11 exceeds the prescribed upper value. The 2nd comparator 13 generates the binary signal ''1'' when the measuring value obtained with the resistance measuring device 11 exceeds the prescribed lower value. An alarm device 14 generates the alarm when either of the 1st comparator 12 and the 2nd comparator 13 outputs ''1''. The alarm device 14 generates the alarm when the surface electric resistance value of the recording sheet 5 supplied to the transcribe part 6 exceeds the range of 10<9>-10<13>OMEGA, stops the drive of the recording device or gives an alarm to the operator.
