PURPOSE:To provide easy assembling by fittingly supporting a clutch by a cylindrical rod supported by right and left bevel gears. CONSTITUTION:A clutch member 5 is fittingly supported by a cylindrical rod 11 supported by left and right bevel gears 3, 4. On assembling of a coupling mechanism, the bevel gears 3, 4, input shaft 1, pinion gear 2, clutch member 5, cylindrical rod 11 and others are placed in a case 18 to be assembled for a conjoint movement. Then, the bevel gears 3, 4 are fitted into a frame 13 through a front opening 14 thereof, the case 18 is fixedly fastened through a washer 16 to the frame 13 by bolts or others, and finally the frame 13 receives at one side end threrof an extreme end of an output shaft 8, so that a spline 9 is fittingly engaged with a member 10, thus permitting easy assembling.
