Halogen incandescent lamp

The halogen incandescent lamp contains a bulb (1) which is filled with a mixture of inert gas and material containing halogen and into whose lower part current supply leads (2) are incorporated in a hermetically-sealed manner. Attached to the current supply leads (2) are a lower and an upper link (3, 4) between which a lamp body (5) is arranged. A heat screen (6) which has a central opening (7) is located between the lower link (4) and the hermetically-sealed connection of the current supply leads (2) to the bulb (1). <IMAGE>
