摘要 |
The invention relates to a plastic wine bottle which has an indentation in the bottom of the bottle of such dimensions that, when a plurality of wine bottles are placed or stacked one on top of the other, the bottle neck of the respective lower wine bottle can be inserted into the indentation in the bottom of the next wine bottle above it. As a result - in contrast to previously conventional embodiments of wine bottles - a plurality of bottles can be safely stacked on top of one another on one shelf, without intermediate shelves being necessary. The wine bottle is of substantially cuboid design, the four lateral walls having an outward curvature. In a preferred embodiment, the transition zones between adjacent lateral walls are of angled design. This produces a substantial reduction of the space requirement, both for storage in a selling outlet, where the bottles stand upright so that their labels are legible, and also during transport, when a plurality of bottles are to be packed in one carton.
