PURPOSE:To effectively utilize energy by generating by utilizing waste heat of an engine. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary generator has a split cylindrical mounting case 2 mounted on the exhaust manifold 1 of an engine, a thermoelectric generator unit 3, an engine waste heat collector 4, and a heat sink unit 5. The collector 4 collects the heat from the manifold 1 and applies it to the heat absorption side of the unit 3. On the other hand, the unit 5 removes heat form the heat generation side of the unit 3 and dissipates it into the atmosphere. Thermoelectric electromotive force is generated in the unit 3 due to the temperature difference occurred between the heat absorption side and the heat generation side of the unit 3, and supplied to an electric equipment. |
