PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption during stop of the circuit and to improve the rising speed at operating restart by allowing a control circuit to operate a charge/discharge stop means at stop of operation so as to stop power supply and to restore a discharge stop means after the power supply is restarted. CONSTITUTION:Charge/discharge is stopped by using a switching circuit 8 to interrupt an output of a charge pump circuit 6 and a low pass filter 7. Thus, a control voltage just before operation stop is inputted as it is to a control input of a voltage controlled oscillator 1. Since the power for operation is not supplied, the oscillating operation of the voltage controlled oscillator is stopped. Then the power consumption during operation stop is reduced considerably. The power supply is restarted from a power supply circuit 10 in restarting the operation at first, the voltage controlled oscillator 1 restarts the oscillation of the same frequency as that just before so as to control charge/discharge of the low pass filter 7. Since the control voltage just before stop is stored in the low pass filter 7, the oscillating frequency of the voltage controlled oscillator 1 is stabilized in a short time. |
